Leading direct marketing firm AM&M has appointed two new managers in line with plans for major business growth. Despite difficult current economic conditions, Sussex-based Accelerated Mailing & Marketing is working towards increasing its annual turnover through the expansion of its client base and services.
To meet increased future demand, the firm, established in 1986, has appointed both a new Production Manager and Account Manager to maximise operational efficiency and drive sales.
Dawn Suckling, formerly with share registration specialists Equiniti Print and Mail, has taken on the position of Production Manager while Alex Rouse has left telecommunications firm Orange to join AM&M as Account Manager.
Among Alex's key goals in this new position is an emphasis on new markets. He said: "AM&M is an extremely well established company enjoying long and trusted relationships with its customers. Alongside existing client account management, one of my key challenges is to develop new market sectors, attracting medium and large size companies to compliment and expand our customer base."
Ms Suckling also commented that: "My role at AM&M is to ensure that production continues to run smoothly, using our resources efficiently whilst meeting new demand as the business grows. This work will involve monitoring and assessing staffing levels and performance, with the possibility of developing a larger flexible staff resource that we can call on as demand peaks."
Alix Cox, Head of Sales at AM&M, said: "We are thrilled that AM&M continues to grow as a company in these difficult economic times. We have made these new appointments to ensure that we can meet demand and maintain our high standards in customer efficiency as turnover expands.
"While Dawn will improve our production systems, Alex will work to find new business for AM&M in new sectors and help us realise our plans for growth over the next five years."
AM&M has developed a reputation as a flexible, innovative company ready to embrace leading-edge technology while reflecting traditional values of excellent customer service.
The company, based in Burgess Hill, works closely with a wide range of private and public sector customers, including several Government departments, in addition to a number of high profile corporate clients.
AM&M's services offer solutions for all direct marketing, mailing and print requirements, as well as IT services, programming and software.
